I saw our first car!

Well, it might not have been the actual one, but it really brought back memories of the first car my DH and bought together during our first year of marriage.

It was a bright orange 1977 Chevette, stick shift. Brand new, is was around $5,000. I can't believe that the car survived 26 years and is still running! It looked pretty good, too.

What was your first car as newlyweds?

We had a really nice black, 2-door Monte Carlo, with a sunroof. I can't remember the year though.
Once we started having kids, we gave up the groovy cars for awhile, lol.

A 1985 Mazda 626, used, piece of crap. Cost us what we paid to keep it on the road. Our first NEW car is our current car, 1998 Dodge Neon.
