Fabulous!! Sneak preview.

The graphics and 3-D are amazing.

Could be startling and frightening for little ones...however, there were many in the audience, and not a peep. Everyone was mesmerized.

Just thought I'd share.

Enjoy! :)

There were little ones...none cried or acted out. But, there are scenes that made me jump in my chair - we're talking ghosts and dead people and cemeteries, don't forget.

I have to say, there were quiet a few kids in the audience and there was not a peep. It really depends on the child. You would know best if your child would get upset.

I love Cratchet and Fezziwig!! Fezziwig was perfect!

This is great to know. We're seeing it tonight at an Imax theater..can't wait!!!!!

This is the 3-D movie, right? How does that work - do they give everyone glasses when you walk into the theater? I want to see it, but DH wrinkled up his nose, so I may ask my Mom if she wants to go with me.

How much slapstick type humor is in it? I love the story but really don't care for Jim Carrey's style.......

Thanks for the review!! At first I didn't know if I wanted to see it but you might've convinced me!

Oh, I can't wait to see this movie! My DH wanted to see it this weekend, but I've been sick all week, so that's a no-go. I think we decided to wait until after Thanksgiving to see it.

I can't wait - I hope we get to see it this weekend!

Thanks for the review!

we don't go to the movies often, but sometimes a 3D movie is worth the ticket price. This may be one we see!

I'm nervous about taking my kids to this, I'd hate to walk in and find out it scares the crap out of them....I'm still deciding about this one. I really want to see it though!

Not much - the language is true to the story. There were moments of humor, but really, really well done. There was one part that was kind of silly, but it was counteracted well by the "scariness" - I don't want to give it away. It's NOT a comedy.

In fact, Jim Carrey gets on my nerves - I find that he is the same in film after film - not here.

So glad to hear this! We are waiting till our Christmas trip to DL to see it in Downtown Disney...I'm sure it should still be playing then...I'm hoping it will still be playing then!!

Our local columnist didn't give it a very good review, either. Visually stunning at times in 3D and worth seeing, but not even close to his favorite version of A Christmas Carol.

But that's a given, nobody can beat Captain Picard. :)

The best Christmas Carol in my opinion is the 1951 version with Alastair Sim as Scrooge, but I'll give this one a shot too.
