I just got my Mousesavers newsletter and saved on my existing package in November! It took me 31 minutes to do it, but its worth the savings!!!!

I think this is about the Disney discount codes for Value/Mod/deluxe resorts

What did you save on, I didn't see anything different for savings that hasn't been on the DIS Boards for the last couple of weeks. Unless you are taking a cruise or staying off site.

I have a friend who is going over Thanksgiving what is the code you used?

That is so wonderful!!! I must say i am said also, I have not gotten my newsletter either.

amwhitaker,

Way to go. I was able to save almost $1400 on my two trips in 2006 (Feb and Dec), by using BRP and AAA discount.

I am staying at Saratoga Springs Resort for 7 nights, dining package, 7 day park hopper, no expiration tickets. I know some will think we are crazy for those tickets, but we don't plan on using all the days and want them for our next trip. Oh, and there are 4 adults on the package. I just used the code off the Mousesavers newsletter for the MYW Dining package and got exactly $902.44 off my package. The funny thing is that the code in the newsletter stated that you would save $65/night on a deluxe or home away from home, which if I added correctly would be only $455 off the package. When the nice lady gave me the grand total off the package of over $900 I couldn't believe it. I wasn't going to ask her if she used the right code with that kind of savings! Maybe she used another code, I don't know. But she was just as happy for me as I was!

amwhitaker, I have always booked our trips thru a travel agent, since I have been on these boards I have been giving alot of thought about booking everything on my own. Did you book your trip with a travel agent?? Where do you get the discount codes?? Who accepts these codes?? Thanks for any help. We just got back 10/4 and I am already trying to plan a cheap(Ha Ha) trip.

I don't think it's crazy, but would suggest increasing your tickets to the 10 day non-expiring. They aren't much more and you will have an extra 3 more days for future trips.

I agree you should look into the 10day.

We booked directly through Disney and I got the code from the Mousesavers website. I don't know if travel agents accept these codes or not since I have never used one. Maybe some input from someone more knowledgeable could help you.

And thanks for the suggestions everyone about upgrading my 7 day ticket to a 10 day ticket. I will see how much more money it is and I may just go for it!

Oh dear, it's that wild Disney math again!! I am in the same boat and have figured out that if you do the Plus package from Ticketmania, the 5 pluses are about $20 more total. Basically, the difference for our family is about $100 between the plain nonexpiry park hoppers and the park hoppers with plusses. I am playing with my budget today....

By the way, OP--awesome discount!!! That is amazingly exciting!

We are planning our second trip to Disney in February and are new to this Dis Board thing. I was reading about your discount and that is great. However, on the mousesaver.com site, I read there is currently no discount for Feb. and that if one comes out, it would probably be only free park hopper option. What or where did you get your discount or discount code from?!?!? Thanks for helping the new and confused......
