I sail! I don't motor cruise! A August 2012 trip report!

That horrible moment in ever disboarders life when they need to
return home after two amazing weeks at Disney and the Disney-withdrawl that follows shortly after it...

BUT HEY-HO THERE'S ALWAYS THE TRIP REPORT.

Going to come out and say it straight away I do not know if this report will be finished, it has taken me a good couple of months to even begin to start this rotfl but I'll do my best, promise!

So yes I shall introduce the entire cast first of all.

I myself am now a 17 year old, 6th year student at high school about to step into the big wide world... :| This trip was for my older sisters 20th birthday and also the fact we were needing some good old Disney magic in our lives. On board our trip we decided to add two new members to our usual gang of four. Myself and my sisters best friends.

This is myself and Sandra, I'm the one on the right for those who are curious and would like to know who is talking to them. This picture was taken on the boat on one of the nights. Sandra came on our last trip to DLP for my birthday a couple of years ago, and because it was easier for us two to be together on holiday compared to me and my sister my parents decided to bring her along this time and also have someone come along for Helen's benefit too!

Now I shall show you my mum and dad. Now it is an unlikely time when you shall see a picture of them two, however there are nice ones that you shall see!

I'm never really sure how else you carry this on, so I guess I'll give you some details about our trip...

It took place from the 6th of August 2011, until the 20th, technically arriving home on the 21st, but shhh
We had two woods view rooms at Wilderness Lodge, the room number actually escapes me right now but I'll fill it in later...
We had the 14 day ultimate park hopper ticket thingy, and we decided to use the dinning plan this year, just the normal one.
Our original plan changed as it always does, the only thing that really stayed the same was where we eat that night, apart from a couple of occasions, so I don't feel the need to write out what we did I'll keep the suspense for you!

So myself and Sandra had come up with the best plan ever, well at least we thought, that I'd stay over night at hers so at least if we weren't going to be sleeping, then we would at least be doing that together and we'd have someone to talk to instead of phoning each other like lunatics over the course of the night, running up phone bills before we had even stepped out of the country.

This didn't go to plan. Sandra had managed to tell herself that she wouldn't sleep the night before 'causing her to be tired - thus allowing her to go to sleep on the plane. WRONG. After I had applied a resonable amount of fake tan on her, she announced to myself and her mum that she was tired and would like to go to bed at this moment. WHAT... :O Even her mum was shocked. To be perfectly honest I was tired too but I was in no position to be going to sleep at this moment in time. Had she forgotten where we were going in the morning?

So after we moved her suitcase downstairs to the living room that was us in bed and off to sleep. Nope not even close. At this moment Sandra decided to run and jump on her bed screaming "I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD. I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD." :\ Where had all this energy come from... I had to laugh at this, I'd never seen Sandra more excited for anything in her life, not even when she came with us to DLP and believe me she was excited for that.

Quickly though, she had managed to get tired and wanted to climb into bed. We set an alarm for half 6 and I sent my sister a text saying that we were off to bed and we'd see them at around 9.

Now in Sandra's room, there are these really cool glow in the dark star stickers and yes I've seen them before but when you can't sleep because you are too excited anything is cool. So at around 1am, I must've forgotten that I was in Sandra's room because I suddenly began to wonder why I had suddenly put stickers on my ceiling. However I quickly rolled over and was back asleep.

"LAST FIRDAY NIGHT! YEAH WE DANCED ON TABLE TOPS, AND WE TOOK TOO MANY SHOTS. THINK WE KISSED BUT I FORGOT."

Ah Katy Perry, what a nice song to wake up to on a Saturday morning... But who cares 'cause we are going to Disney! Quickly it came to Sandra that she was going to Disney and she shot up out of bed to the bathroom to get a shower before I had even a chance to say good morning.

Quickly enough we were down stairs, breakfast consumed, suitcase in the car, my boyfriend had come over to say goodbye (bless ) and off we went to my own house to pick up everyone else. To save on money Sandra and Kirsten's mums decided to drive us up ot the airport and then pick us up at the end of our trip. So we were off to the airport! Disney had begun!

Check in was fine boring as always same with security but soon enough we were on the plane!

Our back seat entertainment system, which was amazing! There was this one game that all four of us were playing the whole journey!

These pictures are from Sandra's camera, I couldn't really be bothered putting my camera together and she had hers to hand!

Flight went by very smoothly, no problems at all. Apart from there was a little boy and this family in the 4 seats next to Helen and KK and on the descent let's just say his stomach didn't want to agree with him. Poor boy

Immigration was a nightmare. Two other flights had landed the same time as us so the line was huge, so that was pretty frustrating. Sandra and KK were asked if my family had taken them out of Scotland with their permission or without. I didn't know if I could laugh or not so I'm think my face at that point would've been priceless

We picked up our suitcases no bother and went off to pick up our car. KK took pictures of this but they aren't on my photobucket page so I can't upload them, just now. Sorry

BUT THAT WAS US OFF TO DISNEY!

Then shortly...

We all started cheering and clapping like crazy...WE WERE IN DISNEY WORLD!

Honey I'm home

So I appologise for the lack of pictures at this point, I actually took out my video camera and started to film Sandra and KK's reactions to the Lodge, if I put the video up on youtube I shall link it

Check in was fine and we got the joining rooms as requested! 4084 and 4085, which is right above Whispering Canyon, we originally thought it would be incredible loud but was no bother and a provided great access to the stairs at the front entrance!

I also didn't take any room pictures when we first got here, but here are some I took at the end!

We all got changed into fresh clothes and made our way to downtown disney for some EOS!

I love DTD at night its beautiful with all the lights

Myself, Sandra and Helen had the PIZZA SANDWICH...

And KK had the Chicken Caesar wrap I believe

At this moment a thunderstorm took place. Now KK LOVES thunderstorms so she got really excited.

After we finished we took a little walk around while the Disney music played to really get us in the mood. I was skipping, Sandra was skipping. After talking about this trip for the good part of a year we couldn't believe that it was actually happening.

We were pretty much shattered at this point and all agreed we wanted to get some sleep. So we found the car and drove back up to WL and in bed for around half 9.
