When we started planning for our Disney trip I read a lot of literature on how popular pin trading is at WDW. My husband thought this would be neat for our DD3, but I said (me and my bigggggg mouth) "No way - she's not really old enough to be into that, and it's not for me".
Can I get a glass of Sangria to wash down all the crow?
DD's friend came back from the world and showed it to my munchkin, and now that is ALL she talks about. She still doesn't know we're plannign to go (I love surprising other people), and I want to surprise her with a lanyard and some pins to trade.
I could really use some help establishing this "addiction". Here's what I know so far:
1. Green lanyard- only trade with kids
2. Get pins she won't like so she can trade them for pins she does
3. Ask CM to look at their pins (don't just stare at their chest)
I guess what I need help on is where can I get some inexpensive pins to trade (I guess $4 is considered cheap?)? Also is there any other trading etiquette that I should know? Don't want to embarrass myself of insult anyone.
I REALLY appreciate any advice/tips. You guys are the greatest, afterall, you're helping me plant a huge smile on my kids face!
Thanks in Advance -
Mel
