I swore up and down that I would NEVER buy a Snuggie. What's the point of it? I mean, all it is, is a robe that you put on backwards... Or as its also becom known on the disboards, "the hospital gown for monks..." :lmao:

But I saw one today with our team logo on it and I could not stop myself. I had to have it! I'm so ashamed of myself...

On the other hand, it's supposed to snow tonight, and it is quite cozy... ;)

:rotfl:lol. Enjoy! I love watchin the snuggie informercial while at the gym , since there is no sound. Are you going to do the awkward dance they all do, while in your snuggie?

Why don't you go out and toast some marshmallows near an open fire?:lmao: That infomercial cracks me up.

Enjoy your snuggie. Maybe I will buy one for the girls.

I'm holding out for the electric snuggie!:woohoo:

Why didn't you just turn your robe backwards?

:lmao:

My kids wanted one and my husband grabbed old robes out of their closet, put them on backward, and said "there you go".

Same effect. :thumbsup2

LOL.....we subcombed and bought DD one with her alum team on it. She does wear it.....front ways and backways :rotfl:

It's the new Croc.

If I see them in abundance at Disney, I'm surrendering.:lmao:

Enjoy it though. It doesn't get cold enough here for me to warrant getting one.

belledreamer,
I felt like you when I first saw a snuggie. But I got myself a leopard print one recently and I love it.

They're different from bathrobes cause you can leave them on the sofa and they look like a throw, not like a bathrobe left on the sofa. Also, I tried the robe wearing backwards thing and it wasn't long enough to cover my feet and the snuggie is.

So I'm a snuggie convert!

For some reason DH keeps wanting to get me one. I tell him no all the time. I hope I don't get one for Christmas. He could give it to me from the kids and that would seal my fate with a snuggie!

HA!

I love the commercial where they are doing a weird dance in the kitchen while the woman is holding a coffee pot and the guy has a coffee mug. :confused3

sooooo strange!

where do you see them at Disney?? People actually wearing them in public or displays in the stores??? My curiosity is up on this one.!

I was sooo anti snuggie for a long time! When my cousin wanted to buy one from the "As Seen on TV store" I nixed it and then she made fun of me for buying a bump it. :rotfl:

She ended up buying one for my granddaddy (Who passed away Monday. :( ) and he loved it. Then my other cousin got that cousin one. And she of course, loved it. Then one of them got one for my mom for her birthday in hot pink... Then I actually tried out the snuggie and I LOVE it. I hope I get one for Christmas...

One of my snuggie loving cousins and my grandma just got my uncle and his partner each a monogrammed snuggie since they were hating on them so much. I can't wait to see if they end up loving it or not.

I think everyone in my family is going to end up having a snuggie before too long... Lol, sorry for babbling. :upsidedow

My sister in law got one for her dog

We had these blanket things growing up that snapped up the front and formed "arms". I LOVED those things. Way better than the Snuggie (which by the way is what we called Wedgies growing up so I have a REALLY hard time not laughing hysterically at that name). I have seen similar things in the stores now and I will probably buy one of those. The problem I have with the Snuggies is that they aren't very nice material and that they don't stay on any better than a blanket. I WOULD like a something with arms though.

I am pretty much in love with mine. I use it at work. And have consequently been laughed at a LOT. People kept looking over and going "Is that a Snuggie?!" But, I am not cold anymore! I used it as my work Halloween costume - I was the snuggie wearing lady from peopleofwalmart.com.

I am going to buy the Slanket for home use. It looks a lot more plush and fuller.

I bought one for my beagle today! Poor baby's been shivering every time she goes outside, so I broke down and picked one up. She's wearing it right now- the blue one like the picture that was posted. :)

I bought the medium size since the box said it's the right size for a beagle. But I guess she's a little on the pudgy side... the larger one would probably be more figure flattering on her. ;)

How does it stay on the dog-is there a strap? I saw that too and our dog needs a sweater or something in the winter and was wondering if that would work for her. I can't find a plain old sweater for her-everything is "high fashion/low function" out there.
