Will you watch it in theaters? Also, are astronauts trained to have basic military combat skills? Or do they get an exception to skip it? Genuinely curious. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš€๐ŸŒ•๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿš€๐ŸŒŽ

I saw a trailer for this when I went to see Waitress, and it looks very interesting. I'm usually not interested in space movies but the geopolitical aspect of the movie has me intrigued. Will probably see it.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but I did meet a high ranking official in the Space Force once. He was intense.

And randomly, US astronauts used to be mostly former military, but I assume that's not the case anymore.

Might watch at home, not at a theatre. Seems like the storyline is the world is ending due to nuclear confrontation and only this spacecraft is left. So what exactly will those who takeover the craft do since they likely can't return to Earth? Seems like they would eventually run out of supplies. Wonder if they will expand the rather thin storyline beyond what is shown in this trailer?

It seems like each side tends to think the other has way more capabilities then is reality.

You'll just have to see it to find out. With the current geopolitical situation, this will be an interesting film, especially in how they portray the Russians.

Thats because the Space Force is actual military lol, its part of the Air Force.

But this isnt a horror movie, its a war movie in space.
