Yep. I found out today that my mom knew someone that needed to take a kitten off her hands. Apparently, someone dropped the kittens off at her house and just left. A few days later, they caught the kittens [one didn't make it
] and have been keeping him on their back porch.
This poor little guy has been through so much already! The end of his little tail had been basically torn off, and now he doesn't have any hair on the end and it's kind of just...there. Poor little thing. Anyways, if no one taken him, he'd be taken to the SPCA and be put to sleep. My mom nor I could let that happen, so here we are with a 6 week, 2 pound kitten.
We took him to the vet and turns out he had some fleas so he's on flea medication. They also tested him for Feline Leukemia and it came back negative, but they're going to do it again in 6 weeks to make sure it won't just "pop up." The only bad thing about this is that our other kitten who's only about 4 1/2 months can't have any contact with him until we're sure he's not Feline Leukemia Negative.
Anywaysss, here are pictures, and I need help with a name. My good friend suggested Binx off of the Disney movie Hocus Pocus...I think it's kind of cute, but not sure if it fits.
and even though he has glowy eyes, use this for a size comparison.
