I rented a 2 bedroom for President's Week...

at OKW and now my son says he and GF cannot come. I am waitlisted for a 1bedroom. Is it better to call and check frequently or just wait and see. I really don't need a 2 bedroom and want my points back. Do I have any other options? TIA

You might be able to check the member website under your points to see if your reservation got changed or not. You are on the waitlist until 30 days out and then you need to switch to the 7 day waitlist. After 7 days, you'll need to call to find out if the reservation is available.

There really isn't any reason to call frequently.

Maybe you could talk MS into checking to see if someone else is waitlisted for a 2 bedroom and they could swap you. They probably just wait for cancellations to clear a wait list. If they looked they could possibly make two people happy!

They don't email you when you clear the waitlist -- you just get a new confirmation letter in the mail and it shows up on the member website.

I have never received an email from a waitlist. I just got letters in the mail. I found out online before I received any of the letters.

I checked online and my ressie is still for a 2 bedroom. There are no notes of a waitlist. Should there be? Thanks

You won't get any notes about a waitlist. All you will see if your waitlist comes through is that the two bedroom is changed to a one bedroom.
