I received my DVC Member ID card....

and I still can't log on to the member site.

Now I need a User ID and PIN supplied by DVC? Does this come in the mail after the member ID card?

Does it come in letter format or brochure type material?

I think you are going to have to call MS to request them to send you postcards with PINs and passwords. I think they did a mass mailing to current members for this a few months back, but we bought a resale recently and didn't receive any PINs or passwords for this account. I haven't gotten around to calling because we can get on the web site for our other account and there isn't anything different to see really (at least yet).

Hi;

I am still in the process so I don't have a member card yet but try this to get into the members only site.

1. Go to the vacation club site. You can use this html as a starting point - http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/index?CMP=BAC-WDWLinks&ATT=SaratogaSpringsPage

2. Click your mouse on the members only just above the search on the upper right hand side of the screen.

3. You will come to a screen that says members are magical and will ask for a login name and password.

4. At the upper left-hand side of the screen, use your mouse to select disney vacation club from Disney Online > Disney Destinations > Disney Vacation Club

5. Once you have selected Disney vacation club, you are transported to the member site. You cannot edit your account but you have access it appears to most everything on the site including points information, back issues of the newsletters, vacation planning tools, just for members info, etc.

Does this help? I was told by Disney when I went through their quality checks that once I get the card I can use the site by I pointed out that I can already get into the members only site. The only thing that I see that I can't do is edit my account under MY DVC. As a side issue, if I can get in, it makes me wonder how secure this site is.

Hi,
We had gotten the letter that our deed was recorded and had not gotten our cards yet. I called MS and a very plesant CM looked up our information and gave me our PIN numbers. It was easy to get in. We just our cards yesterday, goodbye paper temp. cards! Congrats!

I also called....I don't think they are mailing postcards anymore..but, they can give you the info in about 15 seconds when you call.
