i really want to go on a road trip!

we are going to disney world in may (flying) and we drive to ohio to visit family alot. went in january and have at least two trips planned for this summer. but what i really really want to do is go on a road trip. just drive somewhere and stop to see the sights as the feeling hits you. kevin wont "let" me. he can not take the time off of work to do this with DS and i and doesnt feel it is a safe thing for us to do. but it would be soooo much fun. my mother was afraid of heights so everywhere we went was by car. i saw alot of the east coast by car. i would love to do this with my DS. hmmm, a girl can dream cant she? maybe one day.

One of my fondest memories was taking DS for a weeklong vacation through New Hampshire when he was 4. We drove up and stayed at Yogi's Campground for a few nights. Then drove over to StoryLand for a few nights. Then up to Santa's Village for a few nights. Made a triangle. Remember driving along listening to books on tape, etc.
