I really need help understanding this connection vouchers for

breakfast. How is it beneficial for 17.00 when the meals are 15.95 and with tax it comes out to 17.08?

Three-Egg Omelet - Any combination of Bell Peppers, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions, Tomatoes with breakfast potatoes $10.99 plus a drink would be 1.50 or so and then tax, it won't be over 17, so how is this a good deal?


The magic kingdom lunch vouchers, can you use them when you go to dinner around 5 or 6 pm?
For some reason I am not grasping the savings. Please help me to understand. thanks

I believe the vouchers include tax AND gratuity. While you aren't saving tons of money with these vouchers, you might save a dollar or two.

they are plus tax and gratuity so you save a few bucks, plus soe of the bfast buffets (character) don't include your drink and the voucher does.

I didn't do any lunch vouchers, you'd need a big lunch for it to be worthwhile and it's only during lunch hours.

THE Q&C vouchers are the better deal.

is there a voucher that you can get to buy dinner at the YS? For instance the 29 one is that good for dinner at the YS?

Kid, check out Mary's site at mousesavers.com. SHe goes into great detail on the different options with Connections and what is a deal and what is not. I have used the Quick & Casual vouchers at the Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club and saved lots. For the price of 3 vouchers ($33), our bill would have been $72! Great deal!

For the breakfast, we are going to do this with the breakfast at CRT. The voucher is $17.50 and includes juice, coffee, meal, tax and tip! The meal is $15.95 plus beverage, tax and tip. This can easily save $5-$10 depending on your tipping, beverage choice, etc. We are going to try for PS for 8. The savings for us willbe substantial. At other places where the price is less, it is definately not a savings. So do your research and polanning, and decide what is best for you! Good luck! mousesavers.com Connections program

The only vouchers good for dinner are the "Quick and Casual" vouchers. The Q&C vouchers are only good for counter-service restaurants (this does include Beaches & Cream and Pepper Market though).

The only other way to use a voucher for "dinner" is to use a Lunch Voucher (the $29.50 ones) at a late lunch seating (e.g. 3:30 or 4:00 - depends on the restaurant as to how late you can eat lunch). You cannot, however, go to an early dinner with these vouchers - it must be during lunch hours. You can save a lot of money with these vouchers at the right restaurants but remember that not all dinner items are available at lunch so you should check the menus and make sure this works for you.

The only other exception I can think of is at AK Rainforest Cafe. Since their lunch and dinner menu is the same, some people have reported being able to use the lunch vouchers at dinner time. I would still plan on a late lunch if I wanted to be sure though.

As for character breakfasts, no you don't save that much money. However, for us just having the meals prepaid and easy-to-budget was worth it. Saving a few dollars a person each day is still money in your pocket. In your example, the $17.08 is really at least $19.64 with a 15% tip so you'd be saving at least $2.14/adult with a voucher.

I really think the best deals are at Beaches and Cream with these vouchers. You don't have to order the most expensive items or get food you don't want to save lots of $$$. At other restaurants, it will depend on what you order so you need to research your restaurant choices and make sure you are going to be able to save $$$ there. We loved using the vouchers and saved a considerable amount of $$$ with them - we will definitely be doing it again in January!!
