I really just need someone to share in my excitement!!!!

Everyone at home is already sick of my Disney excitement, so I need somewhere else to do a quick YIPPEEEEEEE!

I called at 7 am on 5/7 to try and add FD to our Value Resort (All Star Music) but the guy on the phone said nothing was available (he assumed at least, I think he just didn't know what he was doing to be honest with you) so I check on MDE to see the "rules" and it said you needed a 6 night/7 day stay so I figured that could have been why it didn't work so I essentially gave up.

Upon reading the board today I read a post from someone else who had a shorter stay and was able to book the FD promo so I decided to give it a shot. They didn't have anything available for the resort we were already staying at but we were able to book at Coronado Springs instead with free dining and we are saving....DRUMROLL..............$60 total!!! That will pay for some of the photo pass I just added and we get to be in a Mod instead of a Value.

Either way, really excited!!!! Glad I made that call today.

We will be there for FD in December at CSR as well.

DH and I are surprising the kids and I can't hardly contain my excitement so I understand!!

I sure understand about wanting to share your excitement. My family is already sick of hearing about our Disney trip but I am so excited. We originally booked at POFQ for a week in November. When free dining was opened to the public I was one of the ones spending hours on the phone waiting to get through. We were able to switch to AKL since our first choice, WL, was not available. I kept checking the Disney site and a few days ago found availability at WL. I called and was able to switch to Wilderness Lodge! Now even my DH is looking forward to the trip. Usually he just humors me when I get to rambling as I guess I'm doing on this post.

I can so relate! My whole family's ( including extended) eyes gets that glazedlook whenever I mention the word Disney. Thank goodness I have a friend whose planning a trip at the same time so we tell each other our news.
