Every day at seven in the morning( European time) I look at the bookings page. And every morning the same message:

Our systems are unavailable at this time. Maintenance is currently being performed and we will be operational again after 5:00 a.m. EST. If you would like to request a reservation, please use our Reservation Request Form. If you wish to purchase tickets, complete the information below and click on the Continue button.

I'm despaired trying to book for May 2008 .

You are not alone! There are many threads out there right now very similar to your's.

We started planning our June, 2008 trip while driving home from our June, 2007 trip. It's a 14 hour drive so we had lots of time!

We arrived home during the wee hours of June 9, 2007 and I started calling on June 13 to book our stay. I was told the rates weren't out yet.

Since then, I have looked online daily......I have called at least two times a week......The June 23rd rumor came out........The first week of July (another rumored release date) came and passed........and still no rates.

Most times, I have been told mid-August. This would line up with the last two years. I booked 2006 and 2007 trips on August 15th. Sometimes, like last Friday, I have been told end of August/first of September.

I went ahead and booked our 10 day room only reservations at the Wilderness Lodge because June is a pretty busy time and I was afraid all the standard view rooms would be taken by the time the 2008 rates came out.

Now, I feel a little better knowing that, at least, I have my room booked.

If you want to get an idea of what your vacation will cost, you can call 1-407-W-DISNEY and ask them to tell you what it would have cost during 2007 and add a percentage to it. I know that they can do this because I had two different CMs do it for me. Once for Port Orleans and once for the Wilderness Lodge.

I was told, recently, by a CM that the annual increase is about 6%. I am figuring more so I will be pleasantly surprised when it's only about 6%.

I know me, I won't wait until Mid-August to call. I'll keep my twice a week call, daily online routine up until they give me those gosh darn rates!
