I Really Feel The Magic When...

I know this is weird but I always stay at Port Orleans Riverside so for me the Magic begins there when I check in and gets better with every step I afterwards no matter which park I choose to visit first. Although after the PP I really really want to go to Epcot!!::yes::

When I first set foot into EPCOT. I want to get out and see the world and all it's wonders. And EPCOT lets me do a little of that, at a fraction of the cost. I really enjoy world showcase.

I know, I'm weird because I don't feel the magic as much at the MK. Or so says my family.

I love that EPCOT can take you places just by stepping from one country to another.

Our last trip we ate in Merrikesh. My friend speaks a little Arabic so when we were there I called her and asked for some words and phrase-:"thank you" "hello" "goodbye". The wait staff really gave me a smile when I said Thank you in Arabic. So EPCOT is a place that brings you away and that is Magical.
It's not weird to not feel it as much at MK-it just doesn't hit you where you live as much. I get it.

I'm near fluent in French, so whenever I'm in the France pavillion I speak french to the cast members and they usually love it! Except for one guy at the pastry shop, he kinda glowered at me. And I'll speak it to a cast member in Canada, too if I notice that they're from a province where it's spoken often.

When I first set foot into EPCOT. The second I can see that sphere, I feel lighter. I'm a traveller. I think, somewhere, there's gypsy blood in my veins. I can't stay in one place for long. I want to get out and see the world and all it's wonders. And EPCOT lets me do a little of that, at a fraction of the cost. I really enjoy world showcase. Some of my favourite things to do include: getting chicken terriyaki at Yakitori House and sitting at a table next to the small pond fountain, eating with chopsticks (I love eating with chopsticks. I'm getting myself a permanent pair this trip); grabbing a frozen tea near China, then watching the acrobats or just strolling through the shop; and finally getting a frozen cappucino (or coffee or whatever) at the stand between America and Italy, then grabbing a table in St. Mark's Square and just watching people walk by.

It's a personal thing, y'know? One person's magical moment is another's "ho-hum; what's next?" It's one of the great things about WDW that there are just so many different aspects to the park now that nearly everyone can find something to enjoy and what seems magical to you may be completely different from what another person finds to be magic.

I know there are probably people wondering what's up with the weird lady looking reverently at the Cornelius Coot statue or rushing to get a good photo of Friar Tuck with no kid in sight (weird lady being me, in case anyone didn't get that), but that's just how it works for me.
