I really am THIS sad!!!!

I think it's a great idea, because I usually do that the two weeks following my trip. "ooh this time last week we were......"

We've been doing that for the last week. lol

This time next week we're going to be in the Bon Jovi concert in Tampa!!

Roll on Thursday.....

so, no post on what you are doing today, i expected a detailed break down....:goodvibes

Sorry!!! :goodvibes - Yesterday was so busy, what with being at Islands of Adventure all morning (loving the Spidey ride!!:rotfl: )and then soaking up the glorious sunshine by the Hard Rock pool, I totally forgot to post!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 OOh and not forgetting my delicious 'cheeseburger in paradise' at Margarittaville last night - DELICIOUS!!!

Anyway, must go - we are checking out of the Hard Rock this morning:sad1: - will grab a quick sticky bun from the Cinnabon shop (and a Starbucks for DH;) ), and then we are headed down to Port Canaveral ready to be one of the first on to the Disney Wonder, where we'll say Hi to Capt Mickey and then head to the delicious lunch buffet on the deck in the sunshine!!:yay: :yay:

I :lovestruc this idea. I am going to do this with my little girl! We have 36 days til we leave so we start this in 15 days.

Hi - I've now got exactly the same number of days left until I go on holiday, as I will be away (We go in 24 days and are away for 24 days!!!:cool1: :cool1: ), so.....

...I like to play a little game :cloud9: (which my DH says is very sad!!:lmao: ) - From now until we go, I think about what I would be doing each day of my holiday. so for example, it's day one today, so I would now be on the plane, and tomorrow I will picture what i'll be doing on day two (possibly swimming in the HRH pool or riding on the 'Mummy!!:yay: ) at various points of the day.

For me it's like going on holiday twice:wizard: , except when I get to the last day of my 'imaginary holiday' I will instead be very excited because it will mean I get to actually fly the next day!!:yay: :yay:

I can't believe I have actually just told you all this - I really am sad or mad or posssibly both, aren't I!!!:rolleyes1

Sounds normal to me, Perfectly logical. BOGOF

What are you doing today then???

Well... yesterday was so glorious we decided to make use of an empty ship, whilst everyone else was on Nassau. So after ordering some 'free' room service breakfast, we took a dip in the near empty pool before heading to the near empty cinema popcorn:: and the near empty shops :rolleyes1 !!!:rotfl2: Dinner was spectacular and the evening show was amazing - but nothing topped the Pirates party pirate: and watching the fireworks from the top deck - magical!!pixiedust:

today we might have breakfast up on the deck, to watch our arrival at Castaway Cay - i''m looking forward to stepping off the boat today to meet 'tropical' Mickey and Capt Jack Sparrow:cloud9: !!! This is to be followed by a relaxing time on the beach possibly with a cocktail in hand!!;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

sounds like you need an early night after all that work!
i love BOGOF i think we should all bogof our trips, they cost enough!!
and tomorrow...?

Hi sorry didn't reply last night, I had to be up early this morning - had to disembark from the cruise ship at 8am!!:rotfl2: Luckily we had booked a late Spiderman character breakfast, so we just had time for one ride at Seuss' Landing in IOA before meeting Spidey and the gang!!:goodvibes

After brunch, we headed to DTD to check out all the goodies in the Disney Store and to plan what Christmas ornaments I'm going to buy before we fly home!!!;) (Obviously it was rude not to stop by Ghiradelli's for a 'smallish:laughing: ' sundae before we left!!)

We have now checked in to the Polynesian for our very first stay here, and I must say it is as beautiful as everyone has said!!!:cloud9:

But I must go, as Kai (DS) wants a quick dip in the pool before we start planning dinner - I had booked O'Hanas for tonight but they have replaced the potatoes :sad2:, so we might cancel and just have a burger from Capt Cooks and eat it on the beach while we watch the Wishes fireworks pixiedust: - Oh! all the decisions!!:lmao: - I think I might have to have a lie down by the pool, with a Pina Colada and think it over!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Amy, your kai sounds like my kids, spend thousands and they just want to play in the pool:thumbsup2

Yes I have a feeling we will spend ALOT of time in the pools - thats why I am leaving the water parks to the end of the holiday, as I'm afraid once he's been to one, he won't want to go to any more of the 'main' parks!!:goodvibes

The weather was beautiful yesterday, very warm with a slight breeze at the waters edge - just how I like it!! (funny that!!:rotfl2: )

No lime green mickey heads yet - but with two plus weeks left I have no doubt they will turn up somewhere!!:thumbsup2

This morning we are staying put by the Poly pool - You can never have too much of a good thing!!:lmao:

Then around lunch time we will venture over to MK for our first (of many I imagine!!:lmao: ) ride on Its a Small World!! I'm hoping we'll do all of fantasyland today and Mickey's toontown before heading over to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickeys!!! - can't wait to see Kai's face as we go through the hotel on the monorail!!!

Tomorrow will be much the same (boring aren't I!!!:rotfl: ) - I'm thinking perhaps Tonga toast from room service for breakfast, before we head over to MK for the early EMH!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

Of course I must n't eat too much for brekkie :rolleyes1 as we have a 1pm reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe and I can hear the all you can eat skillet calling me already!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: (Mental note to self - must remember to put Kai in his Universal studios t-shirt and get DH to order something that will require ketchup - they have no idea what they are letting themselves in for - hehehe!!!:lmao: :lmao: )

Then surprise, surprise, its back to the poly pool for some more r 'n' r - and pehaps another cocktail or two!!!:rolleyes1 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

dont forget to ask for a large coke for kai.
they will bring him a bucket (no really its the size of a bucket...:lmao: )
let us know if lunch was good, but i hope you have nothing planned after, all youll want to do is sleep!
ps the geyser is fun, watch it if you have time my kids were fascinated
hugs

thanks ever so much for the tips tracy!! - we will try and catch the Geyser, as Kai is facinated with things like that!!!:thumbsup2

I'm really looking forward to the antics of WCC - So I'm going to ask for a table in the main dining room and keep my fingers crossed for a 'lively' server!!! :rotfl2:

I will aim to do a 'mini' trip report when I get back and at least update you on O'Hanas and WCC :thumbsup2 - although I can't see me having time to sit down each day and detail everything - not with 2 little ones running wild!!(or one crawling any rate!!!:rotfl: ) - but I'll see how it goes (this has been really fun!!:rotfl2: )

you wont need to do a :rotfl2:
trip report weve already seen it

In honour of this thread I am going to do the opposite.

This day last year we were at The Animal Kingdom, so as I'm re-living it all with my girls at the moment (they keep asking what we were doing "today") I thought I'd share it all with you.

It's the fourth day into our trip - We arrive and the heat hits us, the girls are a tired as we've already done the other three of the "big four" so we have a rest day tomorrow. First off we do "It's Tough to be a bug" then it's DD's first Kali River Rapids fest (couldn't get her off it). They love Kilimanjaro Safaris, then it's on to Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, in the afternoon the girls love to cool down with the water sprays and play the bongo drums then we do Nemo the Musical which gets the thumbs down. The girls are flaging in the heat and it's time to call it a day - Animal Kingdom is soooooo energy sapping.
Thats what we did this time last year.....
