Take it up a notch. Sign up for the Disney Marathon in January. I'm going to try it. They have a half on Saturday and a full on Sunday. I don't have a prayer of finishing, but I'm going to give it a try. I'm just trying to figure out how many lenses I want to carry during the race. I don't think I'll need a tripod.

i wouldn't worry about finishing, we were there once during it and a bunch were walking, not even "race walking"more like a slow stroll...boy do i have the urge to make a brown photo short outfit comment but hey i will stand by my vow and not do it ( bad enough i "forgot" about the not posting for a yr in exchange for the lightroom )

WOW! I am only 23.5 miles from completing that! That is just amazing. Kudos to anyone and everyone who can even come close to doing that.

sounds like me and the Appalachian trail..we've hiked 1/2 a mile so far( in maybe .10mile increments no less) so only 2,174.5 miles to go

CONGRATS, Jen!! What an awesome accomplishment! I love your reward, too; can't wait to see photos with your new lens. I know how hard it is to lose weight......I've been doing Weight Watchers since August trying to lose the 45 lbs I gained due to some meds. So far, I've lost 27 and I'm stuck. But I'm not giving up!
