Hello,

My kids and I just got back yesterday after 5 days at WDW. This was my first big trip with just the 3 of us. We even got rewarded with getting Dream Come True Fast Passes for Magic Kingdom yesterday. We were able to get 10 rides in from 9:30 to 1:00. Starting at Splash Mountain to Stich's Escape. A personal best for us. Wouldn't have been possible without the fastpasses. Crowds and heat were not as bad as I expected for August. Our longest wait over the 5 days was 75 minutes for Soarin'. We hit Magic Kingdom everyday except for Saturday that was spent at MGM.

I might look into a Disney Cruise for the 3 of us next year.

I am glad that you had a great adventure. Last year my DS16 and I did a land/sea vacation and had a great time. I don't know how old your children are but with mine being a teenager I only saw him during shore excursions and dinner. He spent the rest of the time in the teen club on board.

Sounds like you had a great trip. Congratulations on the Dream Fastpass. I'm counting down to my arrival on August 14th, staying at OKW!

Sounds like you had a great time.

Sounds like you had fun! Glad to hear about the FP! I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get one Magical Dream.

I've always traveled to WDW with my DM (and sometimes others) and the only time I spent the day, alone, with DD (then 5) was when the rest of our group went to Tampa. Wisely, I stayed at WDW :wizard: My DD, and I, spent, a wonderful day exploring Epcot. We were able to take our time, and for the first time, she completed her mask by visiting all the countries. It was a wonderful day that I'll remember, always. Now, don't get me wrong, going with my DM is great too, but just being DD and I for that one day was very special.

I too am thinking about doing Disney Cruise with just my DD. She keeps asking me when we are going to do it. And I think she's old enough now that she would remember it, but young enough that she'll still want to spend some time with me. Only problem is, I won't be able to get any family members to go with. DM hates cruising, DSis#1 won't go because you're out of sight of land, and DSis#2 just doesn't want to go. Of the 3, I have a better change of convincing DSis#2, to do it. We'll just have to see.

Glad you had a great time, and congrats on the Dream Fastpass! We got them on our last trip...they're great!
