I have been waiting to switch carriers for my cell phone until number portability was available.... On Sunday i went to Nextel and switched, they told me it may take 5 days for the number to port...
So yesterday, i had my old Verizon phone with me since I thought that the new one won't be working yet.. about 3 pm, I made a call and the Verzion recording said.. your number is not a recognized number..
Woo Hoo my number had ported. I did panic a bit to be out and about without my cell phone..or is that cell phone addiction at its best.. went home and my new phone was working and we tested it and the number ported... fast and easy...
