I Planned and God Laughed **NEW Pre-TR Link!!! p.13**

Nice update!!!!! I loved the additions to HM but when we went 2 weeks ago, there was no line so we kind of rushed through! Glad you liked your LTT meal!

Then, we grabbed a bus and headed back to the BC. I also have in my notes that we had to stand on the bus. Which I will totally admit that I hate doing especially leaving the MK because it seems so much farther than every other park. Anyway, I also noted that a woman carrying a sleeping baby was also standing near us and NO ONE would get up to let her sit down. Unbelievable!

Up next: the last installment! We finally make it to DTD and I want to shop til I drop!

This drives me insane! Some people are jerks!

Now to comment from other stuff. LTT for lunch they do a different menu. We went for dinner and we had a family style dinner, I loved it! Would definately go there again. I think we missed the HM updates too. When were they done? We were there in Nov/Dec 2010 but no lines in the queue.

I had my first Dole Whip ever! I can't wait to have another. Messy though. Melted and I think got in my camera so my button that zooms in and out sticks sometimes.

Glad the new job is working out well. :goodvibes

Happy 4th Shannon

Shannon I loved your cruise photos! awesome!!!!

Your MK day is fun. I bet it was really funny that you all got sprayed on on the Jungle Cruise...we wished for that the one day. it was hot! too bad for crabby lady.. some people just have no Mickey Magic in them!

and I cannot believe that the mediterranean is cheaper than alaska! WOW! can't wait to see those pictures!

Thanks for sticking with me! Just one more update to do, probably this weekend.

I'm starting to get the desire to head back, just for avweekend since I can't really take vacation yet. I'm leaning towards Epcot but MK has a strong 2nd place position for the park I'll go too. I'm just doing 2 nights, solo! September or October are the times I'm thinking of, but can't really decide. Weather wise I don't care because I'm used to the FL heat. I'm really looking for the lowest crowds. Suggestions?

I had some extra time and its a short update so I thought I'd wrap this puppy up!

Once back at “home”, we relaxed for a bit and I took a quick shower before heading off to DTD! Finally, we made it here. Again, I REALLY wanted to buy something but I just could not decide what I wanted! And I didn’t want to get something just to buy it. While I thought about it, we ate a yummy dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express. I had the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes (very good, but I wish it came with a veggie – it needed something to break up the taste of chicken and potatoes) and my mom had the margarita pizza (she loves her Italian food). Then I for “dessert” I made a chocolate dipped marshmallow covered in butterfinger pieces at Goofy’s Candy Co. I actually didn’t eat any of it until I got home the next day. Soooo good!

Finally I had decided what I wanted. The Jim Shore piece I had been eyeing all week! It’s an Alice in Wonderland tea pot. They also had a small matching tea cup but I’ll get that next time, maybe. I have it on my end table now (with the flowers):

Finally I could head back to the resort after making my last purchase of the trip and while we didn’t have long to wait for a bus, we did have a long ride home…stopped at Swan, Dolphin and YC before finally making it to the BC. Back in the room, we packed, ate some of the lounge desserts and watched the results show from DWTS.

The next day was very uneventful. We had our last breakfast in the lounge and left shortly thereafter. No pool, no parks, no one last trip to the gift shop, no pass go and collect $200. I was pretty much done and ready to be home. I was home by 11ish I believe.

Once home, I didn't feel that usual desire to start thinking of the next time I'd be able to return to WDW. Some underlying feelings (including those of my friend and her new baby) sort of dampered a lot of my trip. And even if I was having fun and things were going great, I felt sad. It was really unlike me, but it did pass eventually. I haven't felt that down in the dumpts since the trip itself. And while it wasn't Disney's fault at all that I felt that way, I sort of associated my feelings with the place I was at while feeling them. But I'm in much better spirits these days and starting to get the desire to return to WDW...please see me above post with all the details and give me your suggestions/opinions.

For those of you reading, thank you for sticking with me to the end. I'm sorry it took me this long to finish but I did it!

First :hug::hug: for the down in the dumps feelings! I have missed you! I LOVE the Alice and Wonderland Teapot...so beautiful! It looks like the trip was fun, if a bit emotional filled. I can't wait to share the Carousel Of Progress photos with my brrod..we LOVE that show! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I'm in! Epcot is also my favorite park. I would love to stay at the Beach Club someday. What an awesome surprise for your mom, that is sooo cool!

I would say Epcot too. It's one of my favorites. I love walking around and exploring the countries.

I love the teapot! Very cute with the flowers in it.

Thank you everyone again for reading and following along on my trip! I wanted to share that I officially have plans for a semi-solo trip in September. The link to my pre-TR is in my signature...please stop by! I think Judy (blessedmom) is the only one reading
