I planned a surprise trip...help me tell dh and ds

Hi All!

I am looking for a few ideas. A few weeks ago, I booked a trip to disney for DH, DS (4) and myself. I was last at Disney oh, say 20 years ago. This will be our first trip as a family. I was looking for some creative ways to tell them. I was originally going to wait until we left the day of on the way to the airport, but I think I am going to tell them a few days before. They know we are going somewhere, but they don't know where. Any ideas??

How about a gift basket or present waiting for them at breakfast or a "treasure hunt"? How about a "Disney" treat like mickey shaped toast or waffels, or my kids favorite- cookies! There are so many ways to have fun with this! Hope you have a great trip!

hmmm, I like the idea of waiting until the day of or before, but I don't know if I could personally do that. I'm not good at keeping secrets. Especially DISNEY ones!

You are trying to surprise your DH too? I would NEVER be able to do that. Too much of a planner. We kinda surprise DD every year. She knows that we go every year...she just doesn't know when. So we have Tink come to the house the night before and deliver a basket of goodies. She leaves a note and a pixie dust trail to the goodies

My suggestion is to go on YouTube and watch the surprises.
