I Phone Station?

I know they make docking stations (or whatever they're called) for I Pods, but do any of these work for the I Phone? I would like to get a small clock one for my DH's I Phone for under $50.

I was told at Best Buy that the I phone & the I touch are basically the same thing, so I would think that you could get one. I am so mad right now because the ipod docks that we bought last year will NOT work with the new i touch, or the new i pod nano. They will not charge on them. Now I have two i pod docks that cost almost 100.00 each that are not of any use to us. It makes me sick to go buy new ones.

And those iHome ones SUCK!!!! I have gone through 3 in the last 2 years.

My first one was great, last well past a year and then one day... it just stopped working. The next one didn't even last 2 weeks. The last one went back the same day I bought it.

Ipod devices will work w/ the iPhone but often you'll get a message asking you if you want to turn on airport mode so the phone doesn't ring.

You'll also get a warning that it's not an iPhone approved device. I checked w/ the apple store and there are little to none "officially approved" iphone devices. They told me to ignore the warnings, LOL!

I bought dh the Altec Lansing im600. It got very good reviews at CNET and other tech sites. Waiting for it to be shipped from Amazon. They are normally around $149, but I got it for 79.99 with free shipping.
