I took the written part of the test to become a school bus driver and I passed! Now I have to do about 40 hours (1 week) of road training and then I can start subbing for my school district. I'm a little worried about starting off in the winter, but I guess it's better to be prepared. Written test are not my forte, so I am glad thats' over.:cool1:

Good luck! I think that would be a VERY difficult job!

Wow, congrats! Good luck with the road training!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Winter is the best time to start IMHO. Then you won't be nervous after that....I learned to drive in a truck on ice. NOt afraid of driving now....GOod Luck for the rest..:cheer2: :cheer2:

Congratulations Midge

Don't worry you know you guys are always on a 2 hour delay when the roads are bad

Congratulations! :cool1:

We are VERY lucky with the woman who drives the school bus in our neighborhood. We went through several bus drivers before she came along. But now she has been here for a couple of years and has been great for the kids. I hope that you will enjoy your job as well.

I agree! VERY difficult indeed!

School bus drivers do not make near enough money:sad2:

Thank you so much MidgeD79 for joining the wonderful profession that transports our children to and from school safely:thumbsup2

Congrats again:banana:
