Well, I have been going round and round in my own mind for the past several weeks about what tickets to buy for our upcoming trip to WDW.
We have 1 day and 3 pluses left from our last trip and we will be in Orlando for 8 days. We like to go to the parks 4 days and to a water park 1 day and to take a break one day. We do not go to the parks on our arrival or departure days.
As I said, I have really been debating what tickets to buy. At first I was interested in plain 3 day hoppers. But I was unable to find them anywhere. Then I looked at the 3 day hopper pluses. I missed them at Ticketmania, and they were more than I thought was a good price through Central Florida Travel. (I can't remember exactly how much they were, but I thought that I could get a better value.)
Then I was really looking at the 5 day hopper pluses from Paramount for $238. That is $47.60 a day not including the pluses. I thought that was really pretty good.
THEN I was reading about the free breakfasts with the 6 and 7 day hoppers. Hummmm. I looked at the price of the 6 day hopper - was it $275? I don't recall. But then I looked at the price of the 7 day hopper pluses for $300. That works out to $42.86 a day. PLUS 4 pluses and a free breakfast - maybe even a CHARACTER breakfast! But should we really spend so much money when we didn't need the days for this trip.
Well, when it was posted this morning that the ticket prices were going up (Golden Oldie assured me that it is just for tickets purchased at the gates though) so I thought that I had better move and move now.
I went back over the figures and when I realized that if I would get the 7 day hopper pluses, that with the day that we have left, we would have enough THIS trip AND another trip AND we would get a meal paid for.
So that is what I bought on-line this afternoon - 7 day hoppers pluses. I am so glad the have this purchase made. Now all I have to do is watch for rental car prices to come down and to choose where we will go for the breakfast!
