We'll be in SOCAL this summer. We only have one day to visit DL. What's my best bet for the least crowded day? Last year we did a Wednesday and it wasn't that bad. Any suggestions? TIA

I saw no one had responded to you, so this will push you to the top. Wed sounds pretty good, offhand. You might want to check the Anaheim Convention Center schedule to see what conventions are going on during the week you're thinking of going. Also check Disney to see what special events are going on then. Both these things will influence crowd levels.

Last summer I noticed that the Wed we were there seemed to have a lot more summer daycare groups than the other days. These groups usually consisted of two 19 or 20 year olds watching over 15-20 children about 8-10 years of age. They didn't really have great control over the kids' behavior in line. I wouldn't not go because of it, but it was just something I noticed. If it was me, I'd pick a Monday, Tues, or Wed if I only had one day unless, like someone said, something special was happening on one of those days.

I think I saw some of those groups last year. We'll be driving up from San Diego. I was told that Tuesdays are the lightest highway days. We'll give it a shot.

I saw those groups on everyday but Wed was the worst for them. Tuesday should be nice. Probably not all that much difference in crowds park-wise.
Too bad you only have one day, but that's better than nothing. :)

Tuesday.

When people do quick vacations, they tend to go Wednesday-Sunday or Friday-Monday
