Sorry this has taken so long to get together. Its been a busy month for me and my new HUSBAND!
Sunday, November 5th
Stephen and I left Philadelphia for Orlando on November 5th. We flew Southwest so we got there early to be first in line in the A group (which we were). We met great people in line who inquired about the body bag I was carrying. After the gate agent allowed the pre-boarders to board, she approached Stephen and I. I had the biggest smile on my face, Here I go to get married in the most magical place of all! I thought. The agent looked at me and my dress, rolled her eyes, and asked, Ugghhh, we have a very full flight, WHERE are you planning to put that?
Hmmph
That was certainly not what I was expecting, but I figured, let that be the worst thing that happens on our trip (can we say foreshadow???)
So we land in Orlando and make our way to Caribbean Beach. I stayed outside with my dress and Stephen went in to check us in. We sent our gift bags for our guests a few days prior so Stephen also needed to make arrangements to pick them up and distribute them properly. We discussed the day of our wedding and our travel plans with the manager working that evening. She politely told us that it would not be possible for us to check out late the day of our wedding (November 9th) without paying $60. Of course I explained that I spoke to Disney prior to the wedding about checking out late the day I was getting ready and told it wasnt a problem. Evidently it was and we were charged $60.
Monday, November 6th
We went to the GF to meet Randy Chapman (Chapman Photography) to go over a few things for the day of the wedding.
***Congratulations to the people who were married around noon that day***
After the meeting we headed to MK for a day of nothing but fun. We traded in our vouchers for our passes and received out Just Married pins. We felt a little silly wearing them, considering we werent married yet, but we did anyway.
Great time at MK (as usual). We had lunch at Tonys (I think that is the name of the Lady and the Tramp restaurant). There we had a nice surprise from some of the cast members.
On our way back to the hotel we heard from some friends out first 2 guests had arrived!!!
We were so excited and in disbelief wow people were really flying ALL THE WAY to Florida for US!
We made plans to meet at Jellyrolls later that evening. If there is anything I suggest it is this: Go to Jellyrolls! We had such a great time just relaxing and listening to great music. It was like being at home with our friends, but from where we were sitting I could lean back just a little and see the EPCOT ball this was a little bit of magic one cannot get anywhere else! Then I remembered again, this was for Stephen and I!
