I never knew the songs in Piglet's Big Movie were sung by Carly Simon

I found the soundtrack to Disney's Piglet's Big Movie and discovered that Carly Simon sang the songs for the movie and when I listened to the soundtrack I was amazed that Carly's songs for Piglet's Big Movie were cute. As a Carly Simon fan I wondered why she got chosen to sing the songs for Piglet's Big Movie?

When I listened to the Piglet's Big Movie soundtrack I was amazed that Carly Simon was a wonderful choice for the movie's songs and her version of Winnie The Pooh is so cute. What made Carly Simon do the songs for Piglet's Big Movie? I always have loved Carly Simon and was surprised that she did the Piglet's Big Movie soundtrack

Was the Piglet's Big Movie soundtrack Carly Simon's first ever Disney soundtrack in history? Because it's great that Disney chooses singers from the 70's to do Winnie The Pooh movie soundtracks like for The Tigger Movie soundtrack they chose Kenny Loggins to sing the songs in The Tigger Movie. So having Carly Simon do Piglet's Big Movie's songs is wonderful. If there is another Winnie The Pooh based movie in the future they will most likely pick Carole King to do the songs for the movie if it was to be made
