My 90 day window is approaching very quickly and I was elected to be the ADR maker. We are a party of 9 staying in 2 different hotels under 3 different resservation numbers.

One party is staying for 5 days, one 6 days, and the other 8 days. I am I able to make resservations for all 9 of us under my resort reservation number?

I'm in the group that's leaving after 6 days. Am I still able to make reservations for the party that is staying 8 days?

The easiest and safest bet would be to call 1-800-WDW-DINE and ask them, BUT for the sake of ease, it might be easier just to tell them you're staying offsite and they'll just ask for your home phone number. You won't have to give any resort info at all.

Frankly, I'm planning to start doing this myself because they can NEVER seem to find our reservation, and waste 10 minutes searching that confounded computer system of theirs. Those minutes can be the difference between getting a popular ADR and not!

I did this for a party of 12 staying at two different resorts. I just told them I was staying off-site and it was easy to make the ressie. Make sure you make them asap, though. Such a large party was difficult to seat together. Since we couldn't all agree on adr's, and my non-planner friends were hassling me about being so anal and making the adr's, I failed to plan enough. The only places we could get into were ones where we made the adr and the Fountain at the Dolphin.

Make them all as soon as you can, and good luck.

I made reservations for a group of 10 on our last trip. We were all at different resorts and my sister had not even made her hotel ressies when I did the ADR's. We did not eat every meal together, mostly just dinners. I made all the group ADR's as well as the meals for just my family and had no problem whatsoever. They never asked for anyone else's reservation number and I never offered it, just gave them mine. And all the ADR's I made were for different numbers of people. Some for 5 (just my family), one for 8 which was my family and my sister's family and then some for 10 which included our 2 families and our parents. The CM never questioned anything, just asked how many adults and kids for each meal. :)

I think if you do make the ones for the time after you leave, I would give someone's name and reservation number that will still be there though.
