Day 1 - Part 5
After a fantastic meal at Coral Reef we decided to head back to POP and unpack and rest. We had had a long day already and it was going on 9pm now.
We go find our connecting rooms in the 80's section.
And I wasnt too sure what to expect, but we were very pleased with the rooms. I dont think they were much, if any smaller than the moderates we are used to.
And Gianna loved the towel animal Mouskeeping left. It was very cute with lots of stickers.
Then I hear a knock on the connecting door from my mom's room. I open it up and she says - "Do you have your luggage?"
I did not. And neither did she. We had arrived round noon that day and it was now 9:30pm - plenty of time for our luggage to have been brought to our rooms. Our carry-ons were there that we had left with luggage assistance, but nothing we had checked. Which had lots of things we were needing by that time.
So my mom calls down and asks the CM what is going on - she says someone from luggage will have to call us back. We waited 30 minutes and hadnt heard anything, so Matthew gives them a call. They tell him the same thing and transfer him to luggage where he is on hold for 10 minutes. No one ever picks up.
He decided to go down to the front desk. G is getting a little fussy now and is really needs a bath - but her bath stuff is in the luggage. Matthew calls me about 20 minutes later and says they cant find any of our luggage and told him it has never been checked in.

They then tell him he is more than welcome to look through their luggage department.
Shouldnt they be doing that? That is not Matthew's job to do that - but he says fine and he does. He calls me 30 minutes later saying he found our luggage, but is still looking for my moms.
It is around 11pm now and we are not too happy. A very chipper young man brings up our luggage and says "We found your luggage!" I reply - "You found it - or my husband found it?" He looks a little uncomfortable and says - "Your husband." I ask him if my husband can find it - why couldnt they find it? And that I wasnt really happy that he was down there having to dig through tons of luggage. But I knew I was barking up the wrong tree, so I just said thank you and shut the door.
While this was happening, Gianna was playing by the connecting doors and I hear her start crying. There was something sharp on the bottom of the door and it had somehow sliced through her big toe and it was bleeding everywhere now. I am so upset and frustrated, but luckily Gianna only cried for a minute and as soon as I cleaned it up and put a Hello Kitty bandaid on it, she she off playing with something else.
Up next.....did Matthew find Mimi's luggage???
