I am a FLA resident and am planning a long weekend trip during the first weekend of December--- would you go Thursday - Sunday or Saturday through Tuesday?? we would mainly do the Magic Kingdom, some character meals and maybe Sea World--- not sure yet---thanks

I would probably also do Sat-Tues, so you come back to a short work week! But, we did Thurs-Sun last Dec (it was the 2nd week in Dec), and crowds were still really low. I think you're fine either way! :)

I would go Saturday - Tuesday too.

Have you been there in Dec. before? If not.. Id skip sea world and do all of the special holiday things.. parades.. osbourne lights.. storytellers in epcot, MVMCP... CP...

I cant wait to get there... 65 days until my thanksgiving trip!! WOOWOO

The MK will be very crowded on Saturday and Sunday. I'd go to Sea World on Saturday if it were me - be sure to see the Christmas whale show (if they still have it). This was a highlight of our trip last year.

Try to catch MVMCP if you can - IMHO, it's worth the extra price.

Best wishes -

I don't think it really matters. I don't think it'll be really crowded either way. The only thing, in reference to crowds, with doing Sat-Tues is that you'll be in the parks on both Saturday and Sunday, potentially the busiest days of your stay, considering the locals tend to go for the the day on weekends. But that's assuming that if you go from Thurs-Sun you won't be going into the parks on Sunday. If that's the case, and you're worried about crowds, I guess I would do Thurs-Sun.
What time on Saturday are you arriving? Are you planning on going to the parks that day?
