I need your help!! How to surprise someone good??

Me and my boyfriend have been talking about going to Disney for our anniversary since our last anniversary! The plan has always been to stay from the 3-6 at All Star Movies, that being the cheapest dates that involved our anniversary and cheapest hotel. Well, I ended up in a new job that is gladly forcing us to go the 1-4 so we will be there for new years! My boyfriend knows I already booked our room but he thinks I've booked All Star Music. I actually have booked the Dolphin! I'm so excited for him to see we're staying in a deluxe it's so hard not to blab!! BUT ANYWAYS I need your help!! I don't want him to know we're staying there until at the most a couple minutes before we pull up when he is still in shock! I wanna be creative with the reveal, I know he'll be trying to pay attention to the gps but I think I can keep him off of it until we reach disney and he wonders why we arent following the right signs, once he catches on I want to do the reveal in a creative way! I have thought of having an envelope I give him to open or handing him the gps and asking him to tell me where to go and him seeing the destination, these things don't seem to creative though. I'd love your input!!! If you think of a better way that involves doing the reveal before the trip I'm open to that as well!

It's all about misdirection!

Either make a dining reservation at the Dolphin or say you want to eat there before checking in at All Star Movies then tell him you might as well stay there.

Or get to All Star Movies, pull out your "email" with the trip confirmation # on it and shockingly realize you made the wrong reservation (Bonus points if you can get a CM to tell you that in the lobby...)

Tell him a friend of your gave you a faster way to get into the resort with all the New Year's traffic that the GPS won't know and hand write the directions to the Dolphin and have him give you those directions. (and hide the GPS)

I'm loving the first option, but I think he knows me all too well to believe I would actually not be there at least an hour before park opening!! lol

UPDATE: I made a reservation for breakfast at 6:30 at the dolphin!
