I need your help, and your camping experience

I want to ask you all a favor, when you have a couple minutes to goof around, could you go to my site and add a campground for me?

I am trying to get my site to be a little more helpful for everyone. I need campgrounds and reviews of campgrounds to fill up my maps. So to get started, lets all try to add and review campgrounds that we know of.

Here is a quick rundown of how to do it, if you have questions let me know.

The first thing you have to do is go to my board and follow the link to the review section.

Click here to go to my board.

Follow the link to the review page, if the campground you are going to do is listed, click it and log in and then review it. If it is not listed then follow the directions to add it to the list.

Then you need to fill in the information as completely as possible.

Just make sure the email is correct, that is the best way for the campgrounds to come back and review their listings and eventually (hopefully) upgrade .

Yeah, I know you were kidding, but I didn't want anyone else to get the wrong idea, I just made the site because I could never find one that had an interactive map that I could pick a campground near where I was going, without using google to search and then pick it out of a list of lots of garbage. I have had it up for almost a year, and haven't had many added. When campgrounds are added they get a free listing, and then they can be reviewed by people who have been there, if they want, they can upgrade their listings to include all the info like # of sites, types of sites, services offered etc. IF they do that, they donate a couple bucks my way, and someday I may get enough donations to pay for the web hosting... LOL (SOMEDAY LOL).

So as far as pay, how about my eternal grattitude? Or I could give you a percentage of my income, which right now is in the serious negative range, so I guess that would mean that you would owe me money!!!!!

John, I am trying to add a KOA in Nebraska, but the site keeps telling me that it can't find the address. I can get it on Google Maps and Mapquest, but your site says it can't find it. What map program is your site using?

I am having a problem, when the pop up comes up to fill out, the save button is cut off, is this happening to anyone else ?

I use Google maps... hmmm send me the info and let me try it... KOA's never seem to work, they always have addys like 10 KOA lane LOL

I am glad you guys are trying, I need to know if people are having problems, I have entered every one of the ones on there and I don't have problems, but others use diff browsers, etc, and I need to make it work for everyone!

OK, never mind. I got it to work, and added 2 GC's and a review for each. I don't have any other ones to add except for State Parks, and they probably don't ever want to pay for a premium listing. If it helps you to have them let me know and I'll get them in there.

Denise, when you fill out the information window, hit Tab and you will go to the Save button. It is under the CG info, but you can't wee it when you are filling out the info.

Come on Peeps get on there and add some campgrounds... I can't find any in North or South Carolina and I know a bunch of ya'll stay in campgrounds on the way down!
Add those places and maybe John will pay you too when he gets his bail out check! I'm not holding my breath!!

ok, Rog, put your glasses on! I added the only 2 I stay at (besides the fort) in SC this morning! Not on the beaten path of I95, but just in case some poor fool would like to visit the Holy City.

How do I edit my review. Sometimes my fingers type something different than they are suppose to and I want to fix it.

You can't edit, I didn't pay my programmer enough to have that feature.... I think I can delete it somehow tho.... but not sure!
