I need wedding deco help!!!

My DF Niece is going to be one of the 2 flower girls in the wedding and by that time she will be about 3 1/2 but is already a wild child so to stay away from any problems or mass confusion I thought I would make it simple and have her carry one of those styrofoam hearts covered with flowers....real simple and not to many worries if she forgets what to do or gets scared. here's my dillema...I can't find the heart!! I have looked at a couple Michael's and Joann Fabrics and I have been looking online and can't find one. I am looking for about 3-4 inch heart that is rounded. They have cones and balls and football shaped, hearts with the middles cut out but no solid hearts. Can anyone give me a link maybe??? Please!!! Thanks

You could just buy a piece of foam and cut out the shape you want. If you are going to cover it in flowers, you don't have to worry about the cut being perfect. You can adjust that with the flowers later.

Another idea would be to get a few single stem flowers with a ribbon attached. You could give her one for pictures and have a couple more standing by and then right before she goes down the aisle, have your attendant hand her a new, fresh flower.

Totally not what you are asking, but...

When I was 4 and my sister was 3, we were the flower girls in my grandma's wedding. We both still remember how upset we were when we realized we had artificial flowers glued into our baskets. We really thought we were going to be throwing petals.

Every picture of me taken that day shows me frowning and generally upset.

If you go with your idea, make sure neice is aware that there is not going to be any petal throwing.

Thanks for the reply's. I did find some small ones.

As for her being upset, she is such a busy body I don't even think she will make it down the aisle but I will keep it in mind!!
