Cont and Poly pin meetinstructions for a newbie ~
I think we may forgo the O Lights Saturday (01/05/02) for the Poly pin meet. Where do we go and what time? Same for the Cont meet on 01/11/02.
TIA! ºOº
:)

The Friday night Contemporary meet begins around 7p.m. on the 4th floor near the Pin Station.

The Saturday Polynesian meet also begins around 7p. and is on the lower level near the pin cart, around to the right as you come in the main entrance.

Wish you were ther on the 28th or 29th. Would love to meet you.

How long into January will the Osborne Lights still be a "spectacle?" If you can see them, you should try - you can look for all the hidden Mickeys! If the Poly meet starts at 7 p.m., I bet the pin trading folks will still be there after Osborne Lights :).

Go to the Osborne Lights and then go to the Pin Meet. We did and the Friday night we were there, we left at 1;15AM and there were stillpeople trading!

Did you ever build something and it grew and grew and took on a life of its own.

Weeeellll let me tell you Kathryn built it and it grew and grew its even now got its own zip code.

Yes love2roam its scheduled to start at 7:00pm both days, but we now find that the host and hostesses have to be there by 6:00pm because there are people there waiting to get the first picks of the pins.

And it ends ?????? 1:00am and as late as 3:30am if Nat or Steve are there.

Go to see the light and not to worry you will have plenty of time to trade.

Be sure to ask for Raul, Donna or Kathryn and we will seat you at the tables of honor since your a newbie.:p

Well, with the Poly meet, we wouldn't stay long.
First we will have any early start of the day since our plane leaves at 7:30 am. And we have a FULL day of running around afterwards.
Second, on Sunday morning, DH will be getting up around 2:00 am, our time (3:00 FL) to run the marathon. (And it won't be a pin marathon. ;) )
We saw the O Lights last January. And my understanding is the lights are still on (the last day) Sunday, the 6th. So we can see them then.
