I need warm socks.

I got a pair of the Bath & Body Works chenille slippers for Christmas and am not thrilled. They didn't keep my toes warm. My favorites are from Costco, they are Kirkland brand merino wool socks, 4 pair for $10. I
Usually can't wear wool anything but these don't itch. On a day like today (-10 degrees) I wear these socks and my fuzzy sheepskin slippers.

I was in Costco today and I grabbed a 6-pack of Head brand socks. They are SUPER warm, they are thick "cushiony" at the toes (both top, bottom, and sides) and on the bottoms and heels. SUPER NICE!!! They were $12.60 for a 6-pack, which is like $2 each. can't beat that! As I left the store the guy who marks your receipt said "I see you have a pair of the WARM socks!" I said "YEP!" He said "I gave them to a friend for a gift and he said they were too warm for his feet! He took them back!" He said the guy said that they kept your feet too warm for his likings.
I 'm wearing them right now! I think I made a good choice!

Your problem isn't finding better the socks. What you need is a thick, plush area rug under your feet, over that cold concrete floor.
Its got carpet and padding on it, but concrete on frozen Earth is still cold. Even WITH carpet!:thumbsup2 We toyed around with the idea of Radiant Heat when we created this room, but we dismissed it. Now I'm thinking it might have been a mistake.
