But the cat looks so darn comfy right now. And the vacuum makes him retreat under the bed. Guess I will have to wait until his highness wakes up.

There is so much wrong with this statement but I would do exactly the same thing! I don't believe in reincarnation but if I did I would want to come back as one of my pets! :rotfl:
 
I've been there, too. There have been many times I needed to vacuum but the cat was too comfy looking. We got a Dyson last year and he doesn't run as often with it.
 

I can relate, too!

Whenever I start up the vacuum, my 80 lb. dog tries to tackle it, and the poor cat hides in the closet for the rest of the day. Vacuum day is not pleasant, LOL.
 
Great excuse! I say the very same thing everytime my husband is taking a nap: "Honey, I was going to vacuum this afternoon, but didn't want to wake you."
