I need to pull together a DIS game for Pirates...

I am sick and tired of some of the people I am forced to play with:

Today, I have come across people that have left the game, and been forced to play with RoyalShips and PirateShips, which are useless in CTF.

I then came across in every game I've played, Flag-Sitters. I am sick and tired of it. So, I say before a game: "no flag sitting". Guess what happens...

I just want to get some credits for the Cowboy Suits and Maleficent hat. I have not had the luck all week to win a round of games, so I am ready to descend into DIS rules.

That, or I'm ready to do something drastic involving creating new accounts.


EDIT: Signed off of VMK. Have taken up Everest L3-ing. I don't have to deal with people there...


I have a strong dislike for some of the people on VMK sometimes...

I am so sorry that happened to you Pirate-Emery. When people flag sit (and i know this may sound harsh) it is just an indication that they have no shooting skills and it is very frustrating. And I know how that feels when people just leave the game and leave you with a worthless ai player in CTF. Some i give the benefit of the doubt that they might have dc'd but some you just know left because there they are in the lobby when you come out. The other thing that irks me is when people play that have no idea that the flag is most important to move instead of shooting the other side. I try to tell them to get the flag, and i have actually had some have the flag on their ship, turn around, and try to shoot the other team instead of taking the flag to base only to lose the flag and the other team win. So i am like you, when i reach that level of frustration i just go to fireworks or Yeti and take a breather. I think i am on your friends list so if we are ever on VMK at the same time i would be happy to play a game or two with you. Hang in there and i just wanted to say that i know how you feel, i have been there.

Pirate, I am usually on in the afternoons playing "friendly flag". Give me a holler here on DIS if you would like to join me at any time.

edited to add: I just re-read your thread. Not sure if the costumes are still out today, but if they have been pulled and you were not able to get enough credits to buy what you wanted, I think I have an extra of all the cowboy and I know I have an extra Mal hat for you. So now you definitely have to give me a holler next time you are on VMK!
