I need to get naked!!!

Which is exactly what my 2 year old announced today at the 4th grade award ceremony . "I need to go home" came first. This child is my homebody, hates to leave the house. "I need my bed" came second because when she is home, she is in her bed about 60% of the time. I know this is not a natural 2 year old. "I need to get naked" came last because the only way she wants to be is at home, in bed, naked (except her dry hiney) watching Powerpuff Girls (she is Blossom) or Dora. Ya just have to love the look on the other parents faces as my not natural 2 year old spoke her peace .

That is great! It made me think of my niece. Once as we were out shopping, my sister was going to check her DD's diaper to determine if it needed to be changed since we were by a restroom. She usually did this by pulling at the elasticized portion around a leg. As she attempted to do this, my niece yelled out "No Mommy, please don't finger me!"

My sister was mortified but my other sister and I had trouble not falling to the floor laughing.
