i need to find a dopey costume

hi all! im still a newbie but im calling on my dis family to help!!!
my dd (almost)3 wants to be snow white for halloween this year. thats great because we already have the dress! anway i like to dress her and ds 5 as a "couple" (last year they were tink and peter pan). i figure i only have a few years where i can pick the costumes (or at least steer them) and give them a "theme" that goes together. and since dopey is my favorite.... well anyway, so far the only luck ive had is finding a dopey costume on ebay for $150!!! and it wasnt even that cute! i also saw a pattern (it looked pretty vintage) but it was for an adult and i was outbid. so, does anyone know where i can find a dopey costume or a dopey pattern? thanks for your help!

This seems hard to find, but I just had to add that I love him too and that would be so cute for your kids to go as Dopey and Snow White!!

A few years ago we did the 'snow white' theme. My older DS was prince charming, I was snow white, we had a grumpy costume for DH & wanted our 2 year old to be dopey.
It was pretty easy to make. I had an adult size green shirt & patched the 'dopey belt' and buttons on it. It was swimming on him, just like dopey. I "googled" and found a place that sold those 'dwarvy' hats & got him a purple one, just like Dopey's, and when I put it on his head, I just made sure his ears sticked out, it looked really cute! (and economical too)

If I remember correctly in the movie PARENTHOOD (Steve Martin) At the end the kids are in a play and if I am not imagining things they are the 7 dwarfs and his daughter is DOPEY. I think the costumes were pretty simple. Maybe you could rent the movie???? IT is a cute movie anyway. Good Luck.
