I Need to Ask For a Favorite

Debbie,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please keep us posted on your situation when able.

Also, when you are able you may want to take a look at Cruise Meets on this board. There is a thread for all those cruising the Wonder on Sept 19th. Many of those (including myself & my family) who responded to this thread have been on Cruise Meets.

Again, thoughts and prayers to all.

Heavenly Father you know the situation in Florida and specifially for Debbie and her family, keep them safe and protected during this storm. Though it's so hard for our minds to comprehend the reasoning for events just as this, help them to remain focused on what they can control and to give back to You what's in your control. Put peace and calmness in their souls during this storm and wrap your arms of protection around them.............

Ditto. In Jesus name, amen.
Just a side note, our family will be cruising with you on the 19th as well.

We have been thinking and praying for everyone in Florida.

The whole state and all the people in FL hold a very dear part of our hearts.

God bless and be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Phyllis, that was sooo generous of you.

Debbie,

I have been thinking about you all day, hoping that you and Bryan were somewhere safe. Kenneth, Kelsey and I are praying for your safety. In fact, we just got our pictures developed from the 6/3 cruise, with Bryan and Kelsey together on Castaway Cay.

Please post again as soon as you can, to let us all know you are OK.

More prayers and pixie dust for you, Debbie, as well as all Florida residents in the path of this hurricane.

I'm hoping that the slowing down is a good sign and not just an opportunity for the storm to gather more steam!

Thank you for all of your prayers. My DS6 and I are fine. Our home only had yard debris. We just got our electric back last night. I feel very blessed unfortunately many of our neighbors didn't do as well with their homes. Every other home received roof damage, no-one had electric, many trailer homes and beachfront condos were demolished, lots of people are in need of housing, last Tuesday we were in line for ice for 1 1/2 hrs, and if you could fine gas lines were 3 to 4 hrs long. Even though it's going to take time our community is starting to get back to "normal". Trees are being cleared, traffic lights are up and working, grocery stores are stocking their shelves last night was the first time I was able to fine eggs, but was limited to 1 gallon of milk. Gas stations are still running out of gas, but if you drive around you will fine another and without lines. There's still 100,000 people without electric. There's power companies from all over the country and I've even seen trucks as far away as Quebec working on restoring power. Today is my first day back to work (I work at a school) students will return Thursday. Many of our schools received some type of damage.

We are suppose to be on the Sept. 19th 4 night cruise, but now I see that there's a new tropical depression # 11 expecting to strengthen and move toward the Bahamas this weekend. I wonder what will Disney do?

Thanks again for your prayers and concerns.

Debbie
