I need TIPS on first vacation ever to WDW

Animal Kingdom is definitely the Safari, Hollywood Studios is Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror, Epcot is all the countries and the food and Magic Kingdom is just about everything, and everybody has a fave and mine is Splash Mountain. I usually don't worry about the parades. If you are only there for a short period of time, you waste too much time waiting. Plus when the parades are going on, you can definitely get more done, especially at AK. Fireworks at Epcot, I think, are the best, and if I could only watch one, that is my fave. I hope you have a wonderful time and let us all know what you did and if you had fun!

THANKS HOAGIE PIE

I WILL COME BACK AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING THAT I DID AND MY FUTURE PLANS WITH WDW I WANNA GO AGAIN BUT THIS TIME WITH MY FAMILY WHAT AM I SAYING AGAIN I HAVENT BEEN THERE YET :rotfl2:

Magic Kingdom - All 3 mountains - Splash, Space, and Big Thunder...and pretty much everything else! :rotfl: If you don't have time to do every ride, make sure you get on the 3 I mentioned, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Carousel of Progess...all the classics!

Epcot - Test Track, Soarin, and take a walk around all the countries!

Hollywood Studios - Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania (I haven't been since it opened but I hear it's awesome), and see Lights! Camera! Action! Stuntshow. It's pretty entertaining. Skip the backlot tour. It's pretty lame.

Animal Kingdom - Safari and Everest. If you have time for shows, see Nemo! It's fabulous!

I agree with this this is pretty much the highlights of the parks when i go and have a limited amount of time these are pretty much what I go on

Buy Passporter and enjoy! Lots of great tips in these books and great planning for touring. And don't worry, you won't get it all done and don't try to, you won't enjoy if you. Take it all in and when you get home, plan your next trip like the rest of us!! LOL!:rotfl2:

How can I find the Fantasmic schedule for Feb.:confused3 ?

Only 5 days left :cool1: pixiedust:

Here's my take on this - I recommend doing all 4 parks and go with the dining plan if possible - so worth it. My family has a kind of ritual where we do all parks early morning till just after lunch, back to the resort for a swim and to relax, then back to parks for supper and shows. The following may seem overwhelming, but it's a tried tested and true strategy that we follow almost each trip, especially those trips that are more of a time crunch.

Day 1 Epcot - Ride Soarin, Journey into Imagination, and see Honey I shrunk the Audience if time permits. Pick up FP for Test Track. Head around the world and grab CS for lunch at either France, Morocco (my fav), or England. Ride Test Track and Spaceship Earth, and go back to resort for a swim. Return for dinner and Illuminations. My TS choices at Epcot are Le Cellier (always tough to get a reservation), Restaurant Marrakesh, or Chefs Du France. Coral Reef doesn't have the best food on site but great atmosphere.

Day 2 Magic Kingdom - Go straight to fantasyland, no matter what anyone says you CAN in fact ride all rides in Fantasyland in under an hour if you get there early enough. Later in the day it's an hour wait for Pooh or Peter Pan. We always do Peter Pan, Winnie the pooh, Snow White, Small World, and Philharmagic (a must see for me) right off the bat. Then off to Haunted Mansion, FP for Splash or Big Thunder depending on which line is longer. Ride the one you didn't FP. Go to Pirates, then back to return to FP. Have a dole whip - lol - they are so good and you'll need it by now...Jungle cruise if not too busy. Then lunch at Pecos Bills or Caseys (the best hot dogs ever!). Head over to tomorrow land and grab a FP for Space or Buzz Lightyear, ride the other. See Stitch or Monsters Inc, and then go back for the FP ride. Now back to resort for rest. I would eat at a resort close to MK (Kona or The Wave maybe?) and then go back to MK for Wishes - I haven't found any worthwhile TS meals in MK.

Day 3 Hollywood Studios - Go to ToT and ride it, and then to Rock-n-Rollercoaster. Over to Toy Story Mania and grab a FP. See MuppetVision 3D, and the Great Movie Ride, then lunch (Turkey Leg cart has fantastic salads, or Pizza Planet for some decent pizza and fun atmosphere). Ride Toy Story, and then go back to see if you can get on ToT one more time (best ride ever). Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast, and the "Lights, Motors, Action" shows are both great if time permits. Resort for rest. Back for early dinner at Brown Derby (takes 2 TS credits from dining plan - but worth it). Get to Fantasmic EARLY - we got there 1 hour prior to the show last time and had to stand!

Day 4 Animal Kingdom - Ride Everest and then grab a FP for later. Go to Kilimanjaro Safaris and ride that, Flights of Wonder if the time works out. It's tough to be a bug and Dinosaur are usually our next stops. Go back for the everest FP time, and then hit lunch at Flametree BBQ - best ribs ever! Wow their CS is amazing. See the Nemo show if possible, but DEFINITLY see the Legend of the Lion King! It's amazing...also before you leave you should hit Kali River Rapids - if you are the (un)lucky one like me you'll get drenched - it has happened to me every time I've ridden!

If you follow this plan you'll likely be out of the parks at a reasonabel hour and just be able to go back to the resort or head to Boardwalk for a stroll and pick up supper there. I've heard Beaches and Cream has amazing burgers!

wow that's great thanks for the info I wil keep that in mind am printing as I type. :flower3:
