I am new to the forum, but haven't been to DL for a few years. My husband and I, my daughter and her husband, and their two children have 3 day passes for Sept. 6-8 with a magic morning on Thursday the 7th. Including rides, the main things that we want to do is see Frozen, Fantasmic, WOC on Wed. or Thurs. and maybe have the kids do Avengers Training. Also, the kids will be in Disney classes from 11:00-1:00 on Thurs. and Fri. This will take away from the time that we have to accomplish everything. Will an expert please help us utilize the time that we do have starting on Sept. 6th with MaxPasses? Thank you!

Fantastic will only be available on the 8th.

Frozen should be showing 3 times each day, usually at noon, 3 pm and 5 pm. If you want excellent seats, then plan to wait for up to an hour. If you aren't choosy (and you should be able to see from just about anywhere in the theater -- it is quite large), then you could show up 20-30 minutes before showtime to find seats. We've seen the first show without too long of a wait on a weekday and had good seats in the orchestra area. There is a dining package for Frozen offered at CCR which allows you first choice of seats in the theater. If you plan to dine there anyway, that might be an option for you. (It is pricey, but people have given the meal good reviews.) For WOC, have you looked at the Dessert Party or Dining Package options? The Dessert Party comes with actual chairs (the only option with seating, other than VIP or HC seating). The Dining Packages (CCR, WCT, or Ariel's Grotto) have central standing viewing. Otherwise, you will be looking at investing at least an hour (or more) for good viewing spots (especially for the children) in the free FP areas. Look at the first post in the WOC Superthread for a map of the viewing area and for a basic overview of how the FPs work. MaxPass works very well overall and helps you get a lot done. Since you only have one day to view F!, you might want to look into a dining package for that to get the best viewing spots for your family.

Thanks for your help. Do you know anything about the HB on-the-go meal with ticket to a preferred F! viewing area? Is this a good option for viewing and for good food?

The HB F! viewing area is fine -- a good value considering the price of the meal. If you do a search on this forum, there are several threads for F! dining packages with reviews and recent information. Only the dining packages have seated viewing (on the ground) in the central area in front of the show. The free FPs have to stand in a small area off to the right of the show area (a very small part of the free FP area is seated on the ground). I would definitely look into a dining package option and book as early as you can (you can always cancel later if necessary) so that you have the chance for good viewing for this show.
