Ok, with the 20 or so times I've been to WDW I've never been to one of their major sit-down restaraunts. I don't ever recall going when I was younger and have never been on my own now that I'm older because I'm more for eating on the go while at one of the parks.

Weeell, I'll be going next month for 5 days, which is the longest I would have ever been at DW, so I'll obviously have a lot more time to work with in terms of other activities, specifically actually getting dressed up and going to a restaraunt one of those nights.

I've heard of a few places, but don't know enough, so why not ask around and get an idea. So, really, I'm looking for a place where we can go, not too fancy or too pricey, but at the same time a place where we can clean up nicely and enjoy ourselves one of the nights that we're at the park. Any kind of food, anywhere on Disney property, doesn't matter. Just looking for a good time.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys.

You have come to the right place for suggestions! Can I ask what your itinerary will be? There are several restaurants that we truly love. Some are:

Raglan Road - one of our favs

Earl of Sandwich - great counter service

California Grill - great food and a great place to watch wishes

Le Cellier - awesome steaks

O Hana - although we were not thrilled, alot of DISers love this place. We may have gone on an off night. The meats were very dry but everything else was good.

There are also many options for character dining too. Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, etc.

Hope this helps! Have an awesome trip!

I think we need more info from the OP to give her the best recomendations.

  • Who is in your travel party?
  • If there are kids, what are the ages?
  • Does anyone (kids or adults ;) ) have a favorite character?
  • Any type of food you really don't like?
  • Do you definitely want to eat inside a park? Or is a resort OK?
  • Any preference for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? Breakfast is always cheapest, but even so might not seem worth it compared to cereal and milk in your room.

The Poly has some great places to eat - Kona and Ohana's.

If you are at Epcot/HS you can go over to the Boardwalk and try Spoodles - they are not fancy, food is good.

At AK I have read very good thing about Yak & Yeti - we will be going there in a few days! The menu looks really good and from the photos it looks like a fun restaurant.
