We're going to DLR in early April with another couple (first trip for them). I was hoping to stay in the Disneyland Hotel again but I'm worried that the construction will take away from the experience. How bad is it? Pools are not an issue.

Also, how busy will it be?

Thanks.

It won't be much of an issue. The pool area looks like a lot of dirt being pushed around now but should be well formed by then. They are likely to be planting still when you are there and erecting the new waterslide. The Neverland pool with the pirate ship will remain open.

The three towers are all being renovated though in stages. Unless you have a regular room you won't be in a tower under rehab. It's hard to say since it will be busy then if they will even be renting what rooms are left.
