I need some info on Ron Jon Resort

Can anyone out there give me some information on Ron Jon Resort, other than the website information. Did anyone stay there? How was it?
I plan to travel in Feb..... and want to know if a studio apartment is large enough for 4 or should I opt for a 1 bedroom..... any information would be great.
Restaurants on site? Food nearby??? Shopping..... whatever.. thanks so much!

We just stayed there for 2 nights on 6/18 and 6/19 for a RCCL cruise this time. Can only comment on the 2 bedroom though. The place was gorgeous and rooms were very nice also. Had everythng in them and wished we had more time to spend there. The pool /waterpark is awesome too! The staff is hit or miss w/ their cust. svc skills. Some are very friendly and helpful and others don't want to be bothered. That area needs more consistency. All in all, we would stay there again. We didn't have a car so used Travel Lynx to take us to the port. You just tell the Concierge desk and they arrange it. Costs about 5.00 p.person for the ride over. Travel Lynx was very nice and friendly towards us. There aren't many eating options other than their grill if you don;t have a car. Since we were only there 2 nights, it was fine but otherwise, you would be better off to buy food and cook in the condo units. We did bring some breakfast items w/ us such as, pop tarts, microwave popcorn and bagels. The 2 bedroom had a full kitchen w/ toaster, oven, microwave, etc. I do know that some of the smaller units do not have a full kitchen so you might want to check on that since you're not getting a 2 bedroom.

Hi

Can anyone comment as to what the chances would be for us to be able to use the pool or river ride in late Jan/early Feb.? We are thinking of staying here as we would be able to split the room rate with my folks. Are the pool and river ride heated?? I know there may be a chance of cold weather at this time of the year so I was just wondering what the chances are we would be able to utilize the pool .

Also does anyone have rates that the rooms run or any codes for a reduced price that they are aware of??

I too would also like to know if the Studio would be big enough for 4 adults and 1 child. Thanks

The pools appeared to be heated when we used them. As for your other questions, you probably should call the Resort and ask them directly.
