I need some help for a gift card box

My daughter is having a caribbean theme for graduation and I would like a clever way to decorate a box or basket for her cards. any ideas would be great.

You could do a treasure chest. If you want to make it look less "piratey" have it on top of some sand with flowered plants next to it.

Or if thats too cheesey you could just decorate a basket with some nice caribbeanish flowers.

If you're into scrapbooking, they have paper and fabric flowers at almost any retailer that you could attach to the box or basket with ribbon.

I think I have seen pinatas which would fall into that theme, pineapples perhaps? You could get one and make a large slit in it for cards... just would have to make sure no one thought it was really a pinata to whack!
