I am a single mom - who at the moment is unemployed. My DS is Autistic which complicates matters a little more. My DS LOVES Toy Story and Woody especially. I took him to WDW in 2000 when he was 2 but now that he's older I would love to be able to see his eyes light up when he meets Woody for real. Now! It's hard enough to save up the $$ when you have a job and I know it's silly for someone who's unemployed to be thinking about vacations...but! As Walt Disney said... "If you can Dream It, You Can Do It!"

Sooo..to get to the point. lol To fund this little "Dream" of mine..I've decided to write my own Guide To Disney. I have a niche that I haven't seen yet, but I want to add some general vacation information to it. If you were looking for a new Disney Guide, what types of things would you like to see in it? I do have plenty of ideas but I would like to get some other public opinions as well!

OH..BTW - this will be an E-Book which I plan to sell on eBay.

How about:
Ways to start Saving and the single parent (from one who is also trying to save for Disney)
Vouchers
Cheap hotels (tell about codes)

Man, I hate to be a bubble buster, but with all the free info on the net, and these boards, I really think you would do better to find another way to make some money. I've seen a lot (and I mean a lot over the years) of these guides for sale on eBay..and they often go for a couple of bucks, when they do sell (downloaded books), and many don't. You have to be very careful where you get your info, and not infringe on what someone else has written (since it's considered copyrighted as soon as they write it..it no longer has to be registered). Of course if you have nothing but time, and can afford the ebay and paypal fees, give it a try.
Good luck in any case.

lol..I knew that was coming sooner or later...I've been doing some research for quite some time now. I don't expect to get rich. I know there is tons of free info on the net - but there are also tons of people who don't have time to search for that stuff on the net. I know realistically I may not make a penny but I will never know until I give it a try. I am a regular seller on eBay so I'm pretty familiar with wasting money on there anyway lol.

I've been watching a couple others from this board doing the same thing, and recently, they both stopped selling, so I had hoped to point out that not many succeed at selling this type of info. But it sounds like you've already done your own research and you have the time (and money to give ebay LOL), so I wish you luck! Hope it turns out to be everything you wish for.

Goofymum-The worst that can happen is that your book doesn't sell. I say go for it...now that you know what the worst that can happen is. I know that people are only trying to forwarn you. You never know what will happen especially if you have the right niche...like traveling with an autistic child. Being an educator we see a lot more of our students coming in with autistic like characteristics. The fact that you're trying to do something for your son is better than sitting there and doing nothing!!!!
