We are flying in on Sat Sept 26th, flying home Thursday Oct 1 (early flight). Because of the timing of our trip we can take advantage of the special gay days convention tickets, which we can't use until Sunday the 27th. (We are just a regular family, but last year we happened to accidentally plan our trip during gay days, and several disers posted the link for the gay days pricing).
So now my dilemma is: Do I purchase the discounted tickets and not go into the parks on our arrival day of Sat (we would be able to be in the parks about 3 pm).
Our other thought was to just spend sat afternoon at DTD and maybe do Goofys dinner. We did Goofys last year on our arrival day and the kids (4 and 6 now) loved it.
Part of me hates to waste a half day by not going into the parks though. It's an either/or for us though...Either spend the extra money on regular tix and add a day to use for Sat. Or buy the discounted tix, and not go into the parks on Sat., and spend the money on Goofys.
What kind of crowds should we expect if we do go into the parks after 3pm on Saturday evening. Not having been in the park earlier to collect FP's. Any advice???
