I need room advice!

I'm going to wdw next June with DBF , Friend, Friends DGF, Cousin, and Cousins DGF. We are all staying at the poly and all want to stay in one room. Sadly thats not possible. My DM suggested that we get adjoining rooms but I'd like to find another way around that. Any suggestions?

I am not sure what you mean by "trying to get around that'. You could reserve a suite at the Poly (big bucks, but you could all be in the same place.) If cost is the issue, you could try a moderate or a value hotel--two rooms would cost substatially less than 2 rooms at the Poly. Even if all of you would be willing to sleep in 1 room, Disney doesn't allow it. You couldn't get Keys to the Kingdom cards, either, which means no extra magic hours.
