We are still shopping around, or I should say HE is, I haven't gone as yet, cause I would want to take them ALL home! He is doing a little better today, not too many tears, I guess he is concentrating on getting another one. I sent 5 Emails last night to breeders here in Fl. If we do not find any locally we will go further North. Thanks again to all! Faith

I remember how badly my Dad hurt when he lost his big collie all of a sudden. He swore that he would never get another dog either. Well, my mother brought home a collie puppy one day and my Dad was smitten. He adored that dog until the day he died. That second collie is gone now too but I like to think of them all together now past the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so sorry. We lost our weiner dog a year ago. She was hit by a car. It was one of the most horrible things I have ever gone through and I still grieve for her. I too posted here to receive support and it helped a great deal. My Mom still has not gotten another dog. She said she is just not ready. We have never gotten as attached to a dog as we were to her. She was like a little person.

I hope your new pup will bring you comfort and love.
